Michael is a serial entrepreneur and accomplished business advisor with expertise in developing corporate, financial, and marketing strategies, he is also proficient in managing overall operations and human resource requirements. Formerly a Lead Partner with Gallup, he led teams and guided programs from research to execution, determined and delivered strategic and creative recommendations, and managed implementation. He is skilled at executing comprehensive research and analysis of qualitative and quantitative data, building marketing and sales systems, developing rigorous business and human capital projection models, formulating solutions to crucial issues, developing strategies for growth, and delivering recommendations. Michael has authored or coauthored research studies on growth strategies, organizational architecture, and human capital development.

Prior to joining Gallup in 2005, Michael worked for several Atlanta-based technology companies, serving most recently as a senior consultant with Accenture’s Growth and Strategy Group. He has worked with clients in the healthcare, electronics, high technology, chemical, internet, hospitality, manufacturing, transportation, and professional services industries, among others. Michael is active in the Southeastern U.S. early-stage investment community and serves as an investor/advisor on numerous boards of directors. He supports various civic organizations and serves on the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement of Georgia (one of the largest JA organizations worldwide) and Veterans Pathways.

Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and an MBA from Emory and is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He lives in Sandy Springs, GA with his wife and two sons.
