Kristen is a well-respected direct sales executive and consultant with a 24-year track record of successful hands-on experience improving sales revenue, productivity, team cohesiveness and customer satisfaction for outside and inside B2C and B2B sales organizations. She played a key leadership role in the TPG Growth turnaround of 3-Day Blinds – helping transition this long-time retail company into a successful direct sales organization. She went on to become the VP of Sales and founding team member of Chloe + Isabel, spearheading the strategic planning, build and full execution for the sales and customer service end of this direct-to-consumer jewelry company backed by First Round Capital and Floodgate.
Kristen also co-founded Trumaker, a direct sales men’s apparel company backed by RRE Ventures and Venrock, where she was again personally responsible for the full build and execution of the direct sales organization.
Kristen’s passion is helping early and mid-stage companies uncover areas that need improvement in both sales and customer experience, assessing and providing solutions that increase effectiveness, and digging in to participate first-hand in the work needed to take metrics to the desired level. She specializes in helping her clients build sales teams from scratch and engaging with existing teams to increase appointment/sales conversion, average order size, customer lifetime value, and referrals. She designs sales training and development programs, which are customized for each company’s unique culture, brand and goals.
Kristen now serves as a sales consultant to early and mid-stage start-ups while residing in the beautiful Bay Area.
